if you’ve never "gone birding" before, now is your chance!!!
if you have watched a bird before, come and do it again!!!
we will all wake up not too early, but a little bit early, to look around for winged critters. we might
name them, we might laugh at their antics, we might go awwwwwww. we won't walk too far or
too fast. this is a family-friendly, beginner-friendly, bedhead-friendly kinda thing.
we can bring some coffee to put that extra pep in your step and we always have binoculars to
share...
EARLY BIRD BIRD SONG WALKS ︎︎︎ FRIDAYS 7:17AM at KELLEY POINT PARK
that’ll be friday the 5th, the 12th, the 19th, and the 26th which is also arbor day (meet at the furthest parking lot)for those curious about the secrets of the dawn chorus, a quiet and gentle morning ramble to pay special attention to bird song/listen to the composition of a spring symphony as species arrive from winter habitats week by week/once you know one bird another bird will come to mystify you with its sweet somethings/we can spend time describing tone melody pace rhythm frequency/we can write some lyrics/we can hum along

ever feel like the birds are always giving you something? maybe joy, renewed vigor, relaxation, a new friend? well, here are some days dedicated to giving back to the birds! clean grass, happy plants, sometimes even birdhouses. joining various conservation non-profits at some of our favorite birdwatching venues, guero bird club is gonna get our hands dirty!
